Meghan Brunner, Faire-Folk™ Bard

    Stuff... and stuff.

Been a while since the last post - mostly because the stuff I had to write is only interesting if you want to hear me whine. Which I'm sure no one does.

Had a good long weekend, though - helped Mattsiah pack a bit on Friday and move on Saturday... partially because he needed the help, and partially because hell would freeze over if a year went by where I didn't borrow my mother's minivan to help someone move over Memorial Day. I just wouldn't want to imact mention multi-planar ecocolgy that way.

    I'm a good little tree-hugger, I am.

    (Does hell have trees?)

True to form, I wound up separated from the caravan and wandering Minneapolis for two hours because I wasn't bright enough to ask for directions before we departed.

I would like to note that I did not wind up in Burnsville. So there, BJ.

I did see a few neat sculptures made of enormous boulders at the edge of some random park that I'm sure I will never find again. A pity, as I'd like to show them to Xy.

Sunday I sat on my porch and read a book in the absolutely perfect weather, with a flawlessly periwinkle sky above me. Distressed the hell out of my cats, who couldn't fathom why I'd want to go on the other side of the screen and just sit there, where they couldn't crawl all over me.

Good thing I didn't sneeze. Poor Scathach probably would've had a corinary. It's bad enough when I do it in the shower and he can't get to me to be sure I haven't exploded.

Spent part of Monday transcribing a story from someone with whom I used to hang about. It came to my attention that the ragged old dot-matrix printout is probably the only copy in existance, and I really don't like the thought of a fellow bard being without one of her stories.

Yesterday was quiet - everyone still on vacation, I think, which is fine by me. And tonight I gGot to hang out for dinner and chat with Auntie Tassels. Rock on.
